Veissmann temperature probes include clamps and valve grease bags for Vitodens and Vitovalor boilers. A sensor or thermistor reduces the resistance of a circuit as its temperature increases. The boiler’s printed circuit board (PCB) sends current to the thermistor and reads the relative resistance to determine whether heat reduction or increase is required.
